Deb Dishman - teaches Beginner Piano, Guitar, & Voice. Focusing on strong understanding of Music Theory for each student. (every student in the Program will take Music Theory with Deb) Creativity and Fun will make learning personal and rewarding for both young and older students alike!

I consider myself a life-long student. I never tire of learning something new. I guess that
is why I love sharing the process with others. Watching someone start the journey and
being a part of it when the “light turns on” is so exciting and rewarding.
I began singing as a young child because it made my parents smile! It made me feel
good. Piano lessons began when I was 6. I sang in school

I've been singing in front of people since I was 3 years old. I've personally won many singing competitions throughout my life. Competitions that have pushed me and challenged me to be a better singer and performer. I LOVE watching my students grow and transform in their talents, crush hard goals, and achieve those dreams inside.

Guitar Lessons
note picking, strumming, chording, scales, sheet music, tabs, finding your style...learning guitar will be both challenging and so much fun! As with any instrument of choice, you will learn the Fundamentals of your instrument, you'll learn what makes your instrument so special and hopefully grow to love playing it! The guitar is a fascinating instrument with so many things you can do with it. Is it challenging to learn? Yes and no, it all depends on what your goals are as a musician. Will we challenge you to stretch and grow your skills on the guitar....absolutely. Will your fingers hurt at times...most definitely. Will your brain be challenged as you play...yep. Is it worth it?....A thousand times yes.
We'll get you through the basics of this instrument, and then you'll decide the kind of guitar player you want to be....and we'll go on from there. Sky is the limit, your determination is the key!
Piano Lessons
Sight reading, playing by ear, scales, chording, The piano is both an easy and challenging instrument to learn. Each student will be exposed to many styles and composers throughout the curriculum and once basic fundamentals are mastered, exploration into each students preferred style and interests will become the focal point of excelling into the best musician you can be!
Voice Lessons
There is so much more to singing that just a smooth sound coming out of your mouth, it's finding your style, stretching your abilities and making you the best possible singer that you have the capability of becoming. We will be working on important techniques, teaching you how to train your voice in the best possible ways. You will be stretched, and challenged but when all is said and done, you will walk out with a confidence in your voice that can only be produced from hard work and achieving those personal goals!
